The company is focused on three areas of business, these being fruit and vegetable exports, wine exports and local wine sales.

Fruit and vegetable exports

The products that Base handle are grapes, apples/pears and various citrus products including lemons, grapefruit and all the orange types.

Base also exports baby vegetables on a weekly basis for a supermarket program in the UK by air.

Wine exports.

We sell wine via two channels into the USA where we have an own brand called First Rains which is sold through an importer in the Mid West, and we have also recently acquired the rights to export the Swartland? brand, initially to the East Coast.
